Haley Head

Haley Head has extensive experience in veterinary medicine, currently working as a Veterinary Surgical Assistant at Riverview Animal Hospital since May 2018 and also serving as a Student Advocate at Mission Veterinary Partners since June 2023. Previous roles include Veterinary Assistant and Kennel Technician at Riverview Animal Hospital. Haley has demonstrated leadership as President of the UTC Pre-Veterinary Society and as Traditions Chair for the UTC Campus Activities Board. Additional experiences include serving as Vice President of Standards for the Kappa Delta Sorority and working as a Crew Member at SONIC Drive-In. Academic achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Biology: Pre-Veterinary Medicine from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and pursuing advanced degrees in Veterinary Public Health at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University.
