Vrajesh Mehta, M.D. currently serves as the Medical Director and Interventional Pain Physician at Riverview Health since February 2024. Prior to this role, Vrajesh was an Interventional Pain Physician at Witham Health Services from July 2021 to January 2024, where Vrajesh received the Sunflower Award for demonstrating excellence in compassionate care. Vrajesh completed an ACGME-accredited Interventional Pain Fellowship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School from July 2017 to July 2021, following an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency known for achieving the highest scores in in-service exams. Vrajesh also completed an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, recognized as the most outstanding intern resident of the year for exceptional patient care and teamwork. Vrajesh has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Rutgers School of Engineering and a Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University. Prior research experience includes work as a Research Scientist at Rutgers University's Honors Academy, focusing on drug delivery techniques.
