Ramesh Chellamuthu M.D.

Ramesh Chellamuthu MD, MBA, serves as Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Staff at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, while also holding the position of Department Chairman for Nephrology. As the Founder President of a regional clinic since July 2016, Ramesh Chellamuthu is actively involved in community healthcare. Additionally, Ramesh Chellamuthu has been the Chairman of the Division of Nephrology and a Nephrologist at Riverview Regional Medical Center since December 2015. Previous roles include Medical Director at DaVita Kidney Care and a Nephrologist at Nephrology Practice Solutions. Ramesh Chellamuthu’s medical training includes completing a residency and fellowship in nephrology at Maimonides Medical Center. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and an MD from Madras Medical College, where Ramesh Chellamuthu also earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
