Diane Shah

Diane lives in Westport, Connecticut with her husband, Anish, and their two daughters: Emalea known to all as “Emy”, came to Riverview School as a senior and is in GROW III this year; and Kayla, who is a high school junior at Pomfret School. Diane is a native New Yorker and graduated from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting and a concentration in International Business. She worked in the financial services sector for Price Waterhouse and then in emerging markets trading for JPMorgan Chase. When Emy was born, Diane left the world of banking to focus on raising their family, while actively volunteering in many capacities. She served as a member of a Birth to Three Mentors Program Steering Committee, a co-leader of a special needs moms support group, and a member and co-chair of the town wide PTA Council Special Education Parent Representatives Committee for over 8 years. Diane currently serves on the Board of the Remarkable Theater, a grassroots non-profit with the mission to provide meaningful employment for people with disabilities.
