Michael Burton

Michael Burton is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in software engineering, aircraft design, and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Full Stack Engineer at Rivet since March 2021, Michael previously held notable positions at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation where responsibilities included technical project management for eVTOL configuration design and business development. Prior roles feature leading a team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to design and test a record-breaking endurance UAV, as well as positions at Facebook, Northrop Grumman Corporation, and Boeing involving various aspects of UAV design and optimization. Michael holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
