Mirjam Fransen is an Associate Professor at Amsterdam UMC, University of Amsterdam in the Department of Public and Occupational Health, with current responsibilities beginning in August 2024. Since May 2019, Mirjam Fransen has served as a Senior Researcher at Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu. From January 2016 to August 2024, Mirjam Fransen held the position of Assistant Professor at the same department of Amsterdam UMC. Prior roles include Postdoc Researcher at Academic Medical Centre, University of Amsterdam, from November 2009 to December 2015, and PhD student at Erasmus MC, University Medical Centre Rotterdam, from August 2004 to November 2009.
