Niels J. Masselink

Niels J. Masselink is an experienced professional at RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, specializing in environmental safety and security since 1995. Niels serves as a sampling expert and contributes to education and training within the CBRNe Response organization. Niels also holds roles in the Environmental Assessment Module team, the Centre Advisory Service, and the Environmental Incident Service. Additional responsibilities include coordinating fieldwork for soil and groundwater monitoring, functioning as a chemical responder, and serving as a fire officer in the in-house fire department. Niels' background includes research in soil and groundwater at affiliated laboratories. Previously, Niels was a member of the commission "Veldwerk - monsterneming" at NEN from January 2012 to April 2014. Education was obtained at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1990.
