Samira Koullali is a researcher and PhD student at the Law Centre for Health and Life (UvA) since October 2023, focusing on the role of laws and regulations in addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR). With extensive experience in public health law, Samira serves as a coordinating advisor and senior legal counsel at the Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu since May 2017, and holds leadership roles at the Kinder- en Jongerenrechtswinkel Den Haag as chair and board member since April 2015. Prior legal positions include serving as a legislative lawyer at the Ministerie van Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid and a legal expert at DUO/Ministerie van OCW. Samira's early career involved internships and volunteer work in various legal capacities, including at Clifford Chance LLP and the Stichting Kinder- en Jongerenrechtswinkel Amsterdam. Samira holds an LLM in Law (Privaatrecht) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and completed a Grotius specialization program in Business and Liability at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law from 2017 to 2018.
