Dong Soo Shin (Don)

Don Shin began their work experience in January 2007 as a Member Of Technical Staff at Hynix Semiconductor. Dong Soo "Don" held this position until February 2011.

In May 2011, they joined Intel Corporation as a SoC Design Engineer. At Intel, their roles included being the Fuse Verification Lead for the Next-Gen SoC Server Platform, responsible for verifying the usage of global fuses using UVM and Python. Dong Soo "Don" also served as the Reset/Clock/Fuse (RCF) Integration Lead, managing the construction and integration of the RCF domain. Additionally, they were the Globals Subsystem Integration Lead, involved in constructing and integrating Reset and Power Domain IP. Dong Soo "Don" also worked in Front-End and Back-End Design Automation, scripting in-house tools to check equivalence between Front-end and Back-end Collateral. Dong Soo "Don" concluded their role at Intel as the Clock Domain Crossing Validation Lead in August 2022.

Most recently, in September 2022, Don Shin started working as a Design Verification Engineer at Rivos Inc. No additional information about their responsibilities and roles during this period is provided.

Dong Soo "Don" Shin began their education in the field of Computer Engineering at Michigan State University in 2000 and attended until 2001. Dong Soo "Don" then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering at Wayne State University from 2002 to 2005. Later on, they joined the University of Southern California and completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering between 2006 and 2007.
