Julie Dean, CPA, MBA, has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Julie most recently served as the CFO of RIVR Media, where they worked closely with the CEO and production team to manage costs and find solutions for the organization. Prior to that, they held the position of CFO at Paragon Energy Solutions, where they were responsible for financial reporting and strategic planning. Julie also served as the Director of Finance at Jupiter Entertainment, overseeing accounting, HR/payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting. Earlier in their career, Julie worked at Cellular Sales as the Chief Financial Officer/Dir of Accounting/Vice President, focusing on banking relationships, accounting functions, and preparing the company for growth. Julie also worked at Mueller Industries as the Manager of Financial Reporting, ensuring accurate SEC filings and managing employee benefit plan audits. Before that, they worked as an independent consultant, providing controller and CFO services to various clients during transitional periods. Julie began their career at Arthur Andersen, where they worked in the audit department, primarily serving Baptist Memorial Hospitals. Julie also worked as a senior auditor at Rhea and Ivy. Julie Dean, CPA, MBA, has a strong educational background in accounting. Julie earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from The University of Memphis, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting from Christian Brothers University, completing the program from 1994 to 1996.

In addition to their academic achievements, Julie Dean obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in November 1998 from the Tennessee Board of Accountancy.
