Currently serving as Group Business Controller and Region Controller at Riwal since February 2016, Thijs oversees financial operations for eight companies in South West Europe and Kazakhstan, supporting executive management and contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Prior roles include Finance Director at McCormick & Company, where responsibilities encompassed finance, controlling, accounting, and stakeholder management; Director of Accounting Operations at Foot Locker, focusing on shared service center management; and Finance Director at Pernod Ricard, providing strategic financial support. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business Economics from Tilburg University and a Post Master's degree in Executive Master Finance & Control from Nyenrode Business University.
