Mary Kobayashi (She/Her)

Director, Global Insights at RIWI

Mary is responsible for the Insights arm of RIWI, as well as for the Project Implementation team, which manages both full-service projects and sample-only projects. She brings over 10 years of experience in the Insights industry, where she has held roles on research agencies and on corporate marketing intelligence departments. She has also led Monitoring and Evaluation teams at different agencies working for the Peruvian government. She has conducted quantitative and qualitative studies that range from in-person ethnographic studies and design thinking workshops to multi-country trackers in over 20 countries at the same time.

Mary has also served as Strategy Manager for B2B companies and government agencies, with a focus on improving customer and citizen experience. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and has working knowledge of French. She holds an MBA (Marketing and Information Systems) from York University, a Bachelor in Economics (Honors) from Universidad del Pacífico, and a Diploma in Applied Statistics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
