Basil al-Faouri

Basil Al-Faouri is an accomplished data engineering professional with extensive experience in the financial and energy sectors. Currently serving as the VP and Head of the Business Data Engineering Unit at Riyad Bank since December 2019, Basil has previously held roles as AVP and Senior Data Engineer, as well as Data Engineer. Prior experience includes a position at Saudi Aramco from May 2015 to December 2019, where responsibilities included systems data analysis, KPI monitoring, report generation, and backup strategies. Earlier, Basil worked as a Programmer Analyst at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, focusing on software analysis and programming using .NET. Basil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from King Saud University, earned between 2010 and 2014.
