Hessa Altamimi

Hessa Altamimi is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Assistant Vice President and Head of the Data Science Unit at Riyad Bank since October 2020. Previously, Hessa held various roles at Riyad Bank, including Assistant Vice President - Data Science Team Leader and BI Modeling and Data Mining Specialist. Hessa's journey into data science began with a 480-hour project-based course at General Assembly in early 2020, where skills in data collection, cleaning, and analysis using tools such as UNIX, Git, SQL, and Python were developed. Hessa also completed a Nanodegree program in Introduction to Machine Learning with TensorFlow from Udacity in 2020. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, obtained between 2011 and 2016.
