Dhiyaa Katib

Dhiyaa Katib, GSP, currently serves as the Aerodrome Operations Duty Manager and Safety Ambassador at Riyadh Airports since April 2019, demonstrating leadership in promoting Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives. Responsibilities include handling aircraft emergencies, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders, conducting risk assessments, and enhancing staff safety awareness. Previously, Dhiyaa held the position of Aerodrome Operations Duty Supervisor and Aerodrome Operations Officer, conducting runway inspections and issuing safety violations. Dhiyaa's early experience includes a Safety Intern role at Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries, focusing on training and safety data analysis. Dhiyaa holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University.
