Ellen Stuart

Ellen Stuart has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ellen is currently working at Rize Education as a Course Developer & Instructor since June 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Northern Illinois University, including Instructor and Consultant for Leadership & Professional Development. Ellen also worked as a Literature & Composition Instructor at Northern Illinois University from 2006 to 2013. In addition, Ellen was a Visiting Assistant Professor at North Central College and an Adjunct English Instructor at Kishwaukee College in 2008. Before entering the education field, they worked as an Attorney at Connelly Sheehan Harris in 2005 and Thompson and Alessio LLP from 2004 to 2005. Ellen was also an Attorney at the Law Office of Robert A. Waller, Jr. from 2002 to 2004. Ellen began their career as a Human Resources Associate at Robert Bosch GmbH in 1998.

Ellen Stuart obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a double major in English and German from the University of Denver, where they attended from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1995, they attended Agnes Scott College, however, no degree or field of study is specified for this period. Subsequently, they pursued a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree at the California Western School of Law from 2000 to 2002. Finally, they completed their highest level of education, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English from Northern Illinois University, where they studied from 2006 to 2014.
