Sytske Weidema is a project manager and junior curator in training at RKD - Nederlands Instituut voor Kunstgeschiedenis since September 2008, overseeing The Rembrandt Database. Previous experience includes serving as a research assistant at Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University, conducting research on Netherlandish and Dutch paintings. Sytske Weidema has also undertaken independent research on Jan Gossart for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, with findings to be published, and has held roles as a research fellow focused on Netherlandish and German painting.
