Muthiah Sambandam Thirumoolar

Muthiah Sambandam Thirumoolar has a wealth of experience in the textile industry. Muthiah Sambandam is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at RK Exports(Karur) Pvt. Ltd. since December 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President at Gimatex Industries Private Limited from September 2016 to October 2019.

Before that, Thirumoolar worked at Loyal Super Fabrics as the Unit Head from June 2010 to July 2016. In this role, they managed a textile processing unit that specialized in both knit and woven fabric processing. Muthiah Sambandam was responsible for catering to industrial garment buyers, offering value-added services such as fire retardant and high visible shades.

Thirumoolar's earlier experiences include working as a Branch Manager at Dystar India Private Limited from June 2007 to May 2010, and as a Key Account Manager at Dystar India from November 2002 to May 2007. Muthiah Sambandam also served as a Processing Manager at Santosh Textile Process from September 2000 to November 2002, and as a Project Manager at Rogini Garments from September 1999 to August 2000.

Before these roles, Thirumoolar worked as a Senior Manager at Chandra Pioneer Processing from November 1996 to August 1999, as a Processing Manager at Chamundi Textiles (silk Mills) Ltd from September 1994 to December 1996, and as a Processing Supervisor at Sri Bharathi Mills, Pondicherry from January 1982 to September 1994. In these positions, they gained experience in various aspects of fabric processing and management.

Muthiah Sambandam Thirumoolar started their education in 1972 and completed their pre-degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Government High School in Thirunallar in 1976. Later, from 1977 to 1980, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Madras. In 2014, they obtained the certification of Associate of Textile Institute from the Textile Institute in Manchester.
