Axel Löbel

Axel Löbel looks back on 30 years of leadership experience in Operations. Before joining RKW in March 2022, he worked as EVP of Operations for the Belgian hygiene products manufacturer Ontex and led the 19 production sites, the supply chain, and engineering through a transformation process.

Previously, Axel Löbel held several international positions at Procter & Gamble, including the USA, and as Plant Manager in Cairo from 2008 to 2012. In 2013, he took on the position of COO at Melitta Household Productions before joining Amazon in 2016 as General Manager, leading a fulfillment center with around 8000 employees in Prague. Axel Löbel studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen and graduated with a degree in communications engineering.
