Julie Whitehead

Julie Whitehead serves as the Group General Counsel for Royal London since January 2023, providing strategic legal and governance advice as a member of the Group Executive Committee. Prior to this role, Julie Whitehead was the UK Group Regulatory and Compliance Director at AXA UK from July 2016 to December 2022, leading the Regulatory and Compliance function. Julie Whitehead also worked as Senior Counsel at AXA UK plc from August 2005 to July 2016 and served as General Counsel at Geest Plc, where responsibilities included corporate and commercial support in acquisitions and joint ventures. Earlier in the career, Julie Whitehead was a Solicitor at AMP, specializing in commercial and corporate law, IT, financial services, and litigation.
