James Kauppila

James Kauppila has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations and quality management. James is currently the Director of Operations at R & L Spring Company since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Quality at the same company from October 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining R & L Spring Company, Kauppila worked at Kiefer Aquatics as the Vice President Operations from July 2020 to October 2021.

James also held leadership positions at Cotta Transmission Company, LLC as the Director of Quality from June 2018 to July 2020, at Curtiss-Wright Industrial Group as the Director of Operations from August 2016 to June 2018, and as the Director of Quality from October 2013 to August 2016.

Furthermore, they worked at Arens Controls Co LLC as the Director of Quality from October 2008 to October 2013, at Cherry Electrical Products as the Director of Quality from February 2007 to September 2008, and at Arens Controls Co. LLC as the Quality Manager from 2000 to 2007.

Kauppila began their career at Zf Industries as a Quality System Coordinator from 1990 to 2000. Throughout their professional journey, they have developed expertise in multi-site international quality system development and management, as well as automotive manufacturing.
