Mel Bowers

Mel Bowers has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2000, Bowers started as a Technical Support Specialist at Cedara Software and later became a Unix Systems Administrator at asset-management.com in 2001. They also worked as a Systems Engineer/Java Support Specialist at Vizzavi in 2002. Bowers then became a Technology Consultant at Royal Bank of Scotland in 2003 before joining the University Health Network as a Project Manager/Devices and Service Support Team Lead in 2006. From 2009 to 2010, Bowers worked as a Project Manager at OACCAC (The Ontario Association of Community Care Access Centres). In 2011, they joined RL Solutions (now RLDatix) as a Senior Professional Services Analyst and later became a Senior Project Manager. Bowers is currently working at RLDatix since 2019, initially as a Senior Program Manager and currently as the Director of Engineering.

Mel Bowers attended the University of Toronto from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Medical Science.
