Marta Kumle is a Senior Hydrographer at R&M Consultants, Inc. since August 2021, bringing a wealth of experience in hydrographic surveying and coastal mapping. Previously, Marta served as the Alaska Coastal Mapping Strategist for the Alaska Ocean Observing System from January 2018 to July 2021, where responsibilities included developing statewide strategies for geospatial data collection in coastal Alaska. As an Alaska Project Manager at Fugro from September 2014 to August 2017, Marta managed hydrographic surveys, including proposal development and project planning. In earlier roles at TerraSond Ltd and NOAA, Marta led hydrographic projects and contributed significantly to data acquisition and quality control. Education includes a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems for Sustainability Management and a BS in Oceanography from the University of Washington.
