Michael Hewett

Michael Hewett is an experienced technology leader with a career spanning over two decades in various roles within the IT sector. Currently serving as the Enterprise Technical Lead and Manager of Software Architecture and Engineering at RMIT University since April 2021, Michael has previously held managerial positions at Deakin University, where strategic technology direction was provided for enterprise infrastructure and advanced spatial data systems. Michael's extensive experience includes overseeing full-stack development of enterprise applications and integration systems, as well as managing teams of IT professionals. Prior roles at Frankston IT Services and Telstra / Teletech International involved senior engineering and technical support, further enriching Michael's technical expertise. Michael holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Chisholm Institute.
