Susan Smith

Susan Smith is a seasoned professional in philanthropy and advancement, currently serving as a Senior Philanthropy Specialist, Trusts and Foundations at RMIT University since March 2024. Prior to this role, Susan held various positions at Swinburne University of Technology, including Senior Advancement Manager and Advancement Manager in Philanthropy from August 2017 to March 2024. Experience at Box Hill Institute as Alumni and Community Engagement Manager and at The University of Melbourne as Development Manager in Advancement and Communications further solidified Susan's expertise in the field. Additionally, Susan spent a decade at CSIRO as Alumni Manager, contributing to institutional advancement efforts. Academically, Susan holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from Wolverhampton University and is a PhD candidate in Philanthropy at Swinburne University of Technology.
