Tina Beatty-Smith

Tina Beatty-Smith has a strong background in software testing and verification. Tina is currently working as a Verification Lead at The RND Group, Inc. since November 2021. Prior to that, they held positions such as Verification Engineer at Theoris Services starting from March 2021.

From 2013 to 2020, Tina worked as a Software Testing Consultant at Fusion Alliance. Tina'sresponsibilities included validating off-the-shelf and custom software packages, creating requirements and test cases using both agile and non-agile methodologies, and collaborating with business subject matter experts and development teams.

Before that, they worked at Computer Task Group as a Test Lead from 2012 to 2013, supervising and managing test teams, reviewing test cases and scripts, and providing testing leadership. Tina also worked as a Test Analyst at the same company from 2007 to 2012, authoring and reviewing test scripts, creating and validating test data, and documenting test results.

Prior to their role at Computer Task Group, Tina worked at FORUM Credit Union as a Quality Assurance Analyst from 2006 to 2007, performing functional and regression testing and coordinating user acceptance testing. Tina also worked as a Software Support Specialist from 2004 to 2006, providing Tier 1 support, managing issues, and executing system upgrades and configuration changes for external partners.

Tina's early career involved working at ADP as a LAN Administrator from 2002 to 2004, resolving network connectivity issues, maintaining hardware, and installing printers. Tina also worked as a Tax Filing Representative from 1999 to 2002.

Tina Beatty-Smith's education history includes attending Eleven Fifty Academy in 2020, where they studied web development. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, completing their studies in 2003.

In terms of certifications, Tina obtained the following: a Web Development Red Badge, Web Development Blue Badge, and Web Development Gold Badge from Eleven Fifty Academy in 2020. Additionally, in 2016, they became a Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) from the ASTQB - Official Page - American Software Testing Qualifications Board.
