Andrey Rathbone Sokolov has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andrey began their career as an Architectural and Graphics Designer at Liquid Assets Custom Pools in 2003, where they designed and drafted swimming pools, outdoor patios, and landscaping. Andrey also developed presentations, renderings, and animations using AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
After that, Andrey worked as an Architectural Designer and Draftsman at Cormier (LOCI) Architects from 2004 to 2006. During this time, they drafted construction documentation for high-end residential projects, created bank appraisal and presentation albums, and assisted architects with project design studies.
In 2006, Andrey became a Freelancer at AVS Graphics, Design & Imaging. Andrey worked on various projects, including creating and placing 3D models on Google Earth, working with GIS data, creating topographical maps, and participating in publishing presentational booklets and animations for historical projects.
From 2007 to 2009, Andrey worked as an Architectural Designer and Draftsman at Fazio Architects. Andrey was responsible for design and construction documentation for high-end residential and dentistry projects. Andrey also developed presentations and design study packets using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop, and maintained and updated the company's website graphics and photo selection.
Andrey then switched gears and became the owner of Very Special Rides, LLC from 2010 to 2019. As the owner, they provided event-based transportation services and mobile advertisement platforms. Andrey offered low-speed electric vehicle and pedicab transportation for private events and nightlife in Austin downtown entertainment district, as well as entertainment districts in AT&T stadium and Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX.
In 2019, Andrey attended General Assembly's Web Development Immersive program where they trained as a Full Stack Web Development Fellow. Andrey utilized various skills such as Git/Github, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, MongoDB, SQL, React, Python, and Django to create a portfolio of work.
Finally, Andrey worked as a Frontend Web Developer at RN.D.S. starting in 2019.
Andrey Rathbone Sokolov completed a Full-Stack Web Developer program at General Assembly in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued Graduate Work in Structural Engineering at Kharkovskaya Academy of Urban Development in Ukraine, although this remains incomplete. Andrey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nautical Engineering from Sevastopol Polytechnic College in Ukraine.
