Glen McMahon currently serves as the Head of Technology & Advanced Manufacturing for Northern Ireland at the Department for Business and Trade since April 2022. Since September 2014, Glen has also been a dedicated Volunteer Crew Member with the RNLI. Previously, Glen held the position of Head of International at Belfast Metropolitan College from March 2013 to April 2022, overseeing various international skills partnerships and projects. Glen has experience as Chair of the Review Team for Quality and Qualifications Ireland in early 2021 and was a Board Member at PTPI Ltd. from December 2012 to February 2018. In earlier roles, Glen worked as a Regional Business Development Manager for Pearson and LCCI International Qualifications and served as Business Development Manager at Bidvest 3663 Foodservice. Glen holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria and a Post Graduate Certificate in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Additionally, Glen is certified in PRINCE2 project management.
