Maurice Storey

Maurice Storey CB has a robust career in the maritime industry, currently serving as Honorary Chairman and Director at Evergreen-marine UK Ltd since December 2003, while also holding the position of Vice President and Council Member at the RNLI. Storey has contributed to the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights as a Court Assistant until May 2023 and was a Director at Master Ropemakers (Trading) Ltd from March 2010 to March 2022. Additionally, Storey was a Member of the Board of Trustees and Director for the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust from September 2007 to June 2017, and held the role of Non-Executive Director at James Fisher & Sons PLC for a decade. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Executive at the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and as Ship and Port Management Director at Stena Line, along with a role as Fleet Manager at Sea Containers from 1976 to 1990.
