Marcos Schwarz has extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as the R&D Manager at RNP since September 2014. Marcos has focused on network performance monitoring, network services automation, orchestration, Software Defined Networking (SDN), and cloud-native infrastructure. Previously, Marcos held positions as R&D Coordinator at NIC.br and Project Analyst at LARC Laboratory of Computer Network and Architecture, where notable contributions included the FIBRE project and the deployment of a Future Internet testbed facility. Additional roles include Support Analyst at Embraco and various positions during internships, showcasing a strong foundation in IT infrastructure and network management. Marcos holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina.
