Calvin Samuel

Calvin Samuel is an experienced visuals editor and media manager currently employed at Radio New Zealand since May 2016, where responsibilities include directing Checkpoint content, video and audio editing with Premiere Pro, and collaborating with journalists to convert radio stories into video formats. Prior professional experience includes roles at MediaWorks NZ as a Director's Assistant for Newshub, where Calvin was integral in organizing live news programming, and various contracting positions that included line producing for Screentime Communications, production assistance at Flying Fish, and technical directing at TVNZ. Calvin holds a Bachelor of Communications in Television Production from Auckland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television & Media Studies from The University of Auckland.
