Meghan Pianta is currently the Senior Vice President of Communications at Ro. Meghan has over a decade of experience in high-impact communications, having served in various communications roles at The Glover Park Group, NBC News, and General Electric.

Meghan has developed and implemented communications campaigns for a variety of clients in the media, technology, and healthcare industries. Meghan is an expert in message development, media relations, internal communications, thought leadership, third-party/stakeholder engagement, paid media, and events. Under their guidance, their clients have achieved reputational and legislative successes, including the passage of the Music Modernization Act (2018) and the winning of two Oscars for issue-based documentary films (2017 & 2018).

In addition to their extensive work in communications, Meghan has also managed national and trade reporter relationships on behalf of clients. Meghan has also counseled clients through crisis communications situations, using rapid response plans designed to protect or enhance a client’s brand.

Meghan began their career in communications at General Electric in 2008 before moving to NBC News in 2010. Meghan served as the Communications Director for NBC News' DC Bureau from 2010 to 2014 before joining The Glover Park Group as Vice President in 2014.

Meghan Pianta earned a B.A. in Anthropology and Media Studies from the University of Virginia.
