Amanda McKinley

Amanda McKinley is a Visiting Wellness Clinical Assistant Professor at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis since May 2021, focusing on developing a wellness coaching program for social work interns. McKinley has extensive teaching experience as an adjunct faculty member in various social work courses and has served as a Graduate Research Assistant collaborating with Riley Children's Hospital. As a licensed Mental Health Therapist through Amanda McKinley, LLC, specialized in the mind-body connection, McKinley also engages with runners to optimize their performance. Additional roles include serving on the board of the Auguste Community Aid Project, coaching with the Road Runners Club of America, and holding prior positions in behavioral health counseling and teletherapy. McKinley holds a PhD in Social Work from Indiana University Indianapolis and has advanced degrees in social work from Dominican University and Olivet Nazarene University.
