Brian Farrell

Head Of Communications at Road Safety Authority

Brian Farrell has had a diverse work experience in the communications field. Brian started their career as an Account Manager at Bill O'Herlihy Communications in 1995 and then became a Public Relations Manager at the Irish Road Haulage Association in 1997. After that, they worked as an Account Director at McConnells Marketing Communications from 1998 to 2002. Brian then moved on to the role of Press Officer at the National Safety Council of Ireland from 2002 to 2006. Currently, they are the Head of Communications at the Road Safety Authority, a position they have held since 2006.

Brian Farrell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Greek and Roman Civilisation from University College Cork. Brian then obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations from D.I.T. College of Commerce Rathmines in 1993. In 2012, they completed a Certificate in Public Procurement from Public Affairs Ireland, and in 2022, they pursued a Certificate in Policy Development, Legislative Drafting, and Delivery from the same institution.
