Cherwyn Ambuter

Cherwyn Ambuter is a highly experienced collaborative pianist and music educator with a diverse background in performance and instruction. Currently serving as a Collaborative Pianist/Organist for The Newburgh Chorale and a Collaborative Pianist for the Classic Choral Society, Cherwyn also maintains a self-employed practice and operates Cherwyn Ambuter Music Studio, providing private piano and sight-singing instruction. Additional roles include Harpsichordist/Pianist with the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey and participation as a Recitalist for the Road Scholar program. Previous experience encompasses positions with the Opera Theatre of Montclair and as Music Director and Pianist for a summer theatre arts production. Cherwyn holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from UC College-Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Tufts University.
