Gayle Sims

Gayle Sims, CFRE, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Development at Road to Hire since May 2023. Previously, Gayle held the position of Director of Corporate Relations at Johnson C. Smith University from February 2022 to June 2023 and served as Director of Development at The Harvest Center of Charlotte from June 2020 to June 2021. Gayle also worked as Chief Development Officer for the Girl Scouts, Hornets' Nest Council from May 2014 to January 2019 and held the role of Executive Director/Director of Development at Durham Technical Community College from February 2011 to May 2014. Other notable positions include Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at UNC Charlotte and various leadership roles at United Way of Central Carolinas and United Way of America. Gayle's educational background includes an MBA with a focus on International Business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a BS in Marketing from Winthrop University. Additional educational experience includes attending the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras and Duke University.
