Umut Kuzu

Umut Kuzu has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Umut is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Road since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at VARO Energy where they held various roles. From September 2019 to October 2021, they were a Renewables Strategy Expert, responsible for successfully positioning the company in the Renewables market through M&A deals. Before that, they served as a Group Credit Risk Manager from January 2017 to September 2019, managing a portfolio of +/- USD 1B daily outstanding and over 10k counterparties. Umut also worked as a Teamleader Treasury & Credit Control from August 2015 to December 2016, Teamlead Credit Risk from November 2014 to August 2015, and Analyst Credit Control from March 2012 to November 2014.

Umut Kuzu completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2007 to 2010. Later, Umut pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance and Investments from the same institution between 2010 and 2011.
