Barry Barnes

Barry Barnes has extensive experience in the field of sales and marketing in the transportation and logistics industry. Barry is currently serving as the Vice President of Sales at Roadrunner since January 2023. Prior to that, Barry was the Director of Sales at Daylight Transport from May 2016 to January 2023. Barry also held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Lawrence Companies from May 2014 to April 2016. Before that, Barry worked at Old Dominion Freight Line as the Director of Sales from April 2008 to May 2014, Sales Manager from April 2007 to April 2008, and National Account Executive from January 2006 to April 2007. Barry has also served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Billings Transportation Group, Inc. from 2003 to 2006, and as an Account Executive/Operations Manager at YRC Freight from 1998 to 2003.

Barry Barnes pursued their education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from the year 1994 to 1998. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus in Political Science and Government. In addition to their academic achievements, Barry has also acquired various certifications. In March 2020, they became a Certified Nutritionist through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). A year prior, in December 2019, they obtained the Certified Personal Fitness Trainer - Health Fitness Instructor certification, again through ISSA. Most recently, in October 2022, Barry successfully completed the Leadership Development Program offered by the Center for Creative Leadership.
