Verity Turner is an experienced professional in environmental planning and management, currently serving as the Environment and Planning Director at Transurban since January 2014, where involvement includes significant projects such as the M7-M12 Integration Project and the Logan West Upgrade Project. In addition, Verity holds the position of Deputy Chair of the Future Leaders Committee at Roads Australia since January 2021. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at WSP, Senior Planner at Whelans InSites, Project Planner at Lend Lease, and Environmental Planner at the Department of Planning NSW. Verity possesses a Master of Environmental Law from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning from The University of Queensland, and has completed a Financial Accounting course at Harvard Business School Online.
