Liang Heng has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Liang is currently the Co-founder and CTO of Roadstar.ai, a company focused on developing a groundbreaking robotics project in the transportation sector. Prior to this role, Liang Heng worked as a Software Architect and Tech Lead of Sensing at Baidu USA for a year, where they contributed to autonomous driving technology. Liang also served as a Staff Software Engineer at Tesla Motors, specifically working on their Autopilot system. Before joining Tesla, Liang Heng worked as a Software Engineer at Google, involved in the development of the Next Generation Street View Car with AI and machine learning capabilities. Liang gained valuable research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and as a PhD Research Assistant at Stanford University. Liang Heng began their career as an Engineering Intern at Qualcomm.

Liang Heng completed their bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University between 2002 and 2006. Liang then pursued a master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the same university from 2006 to 2008. Later, they went on to attend Stanford University for their doctoral studies in Electrical Engineering, completing their PhD between 2008 and 2012.
