Timothy Mocho

Timothy Mocho has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Timothy currently holds the position of Head: Group IT Security & Services at ROAM Africa since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at BrighterMonday Kenya, where they served in various roles. Timothy was the Head of Information Technology Operations from March 2017 onwards, and as part of their responsibilities, they oversaw the building and rebuilding of user workstations, identified emerging information technologies, and served as the primary contact with vendors. From March 2016 to February 2017, they held the position of Information Technology Manager and was responsible for user education, implementation of the ICT strategy, and planning and implementation of critical enterprise systems. Timothy also worked as an IT & Systems Administrator from August 2014 to February 2016, where they performed troubleshooting and managed IT support calls and emails. Additionally, they have experience as a Technical Sales Representative at BrighterMonday Kenya and Rapid Communications, where they handled sales activities and maintained customer relationships. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Research Assistant at AFREPREN/FWD, where they provided IT support, conducted research, and procured office equipment.

Timothy Mocho completed their Master of Science in Information Technology Management from the University of Nairobi from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology from United States International University - Africa, graduating in 2016. Timothy also holds a High School Certificate from Consolata Secondary School, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they studied Biochemistry at Kenyatta University and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology from United States International University - Africa, although the exact duration is unknown.
