Bob Vangerven

Bob vanGerven is an experienced educator currently serving as a Technology Teacher at Roanoke County Schools since June 2020, following a five-year tenure as a middle school technology and math teacher at Roanoke City Public Schools. Prior to entering the education field, Bob vanGerven worked with Verizon for nearly 19 years, starting as a technician and advancing to a local manager, overseeing installation and maintenance crews in telecommunications. Bob vanGerven holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Mary Baldwin University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the same institution, along with an associate degree in Horticulture from Rijks Middelbare Tuinbouwschool.
