Rachael Haddon

Rachael Haddon is a dedicated Special Education Teacher with experience in various educational and community-focused roles. Currently employed at Roanoke County Schools since July 2021, Rachael previously served as a Special Education Teacher at Bedford County Public Schools. Rachael's background includes coordinating special events and volunteer efforts for the Salvation Army and managing community engagement initiatives at the Children's Museum of Richmond, where Rachael successfully increased volunteerism by 49%. Additionally, Rachael has a history of working in membership development for the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland and providing technical assistance for the Internal Revenue Service. Rachael's commitment to youth development was exemplified during service as a Youth Development Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps. Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Classical Civilization from the University of Mary Washington.
