Matt Steinbroner

Matt Steinbroner has held a variety of roles in the engineering and business sectors since 1995. Matt began their career as an independent contractor for Kelly Contracting, where they were responsible for the construction of homes and re-modeling for residential and industrial customers, as well as administrative and budgetary duties for a 20-person company. In 1998, they joined The Electrosynthesis Company as a Research Chemist, where they were responsible for technical research and development of electrochemical equipment, systems and processes, proposal writing, and reporting. In 1999, they moved to Giner Electrochemical Systems, LLC, where they led multiple research programs including product deliveries, reporting, publishing, and commercialization, and designed and built innovative equipment. In 2004, they joined IdaTech, Inc. as a Program Manager, where they led design, development, manufacture, testing, and launch of products, on time and under budget. In 2006, they joined Aspen Aerogels, Inc. as a Program Manager, where they developed business plans and market studies to identify key target markets and managed multiple nanotechnology projects. In 2007, they joined Protonex as Director of Business Development, where they led Business Development efforts that generated over 90% of the company's annual revenue, implemented process changes in manufacturing, safety, testing, and quality, and led Design for Manufacturing implementation. In 2010, they joined DRS Technologies as Vice President of Line of Business, where they were responsible for P&L in Power Solutions Line of Business, increased one-year bookings and revenue growth, and spearheaded the capture and execution of a $100M+ power electronics opportunity. In 2013, they founded GS Thermal Solutions, Inc., a LED lighting startup focused on the indoor grow market for plant products. Matt led the company from start up to profitability in less than two years, with a second-year revenue of ~$3 Million, and developed the first DLC certified grow light for indoor farming. In 2017, they joined Precision Combustion, Inc. as Product Management Executive, where they were responsible for advancement, development, and commercialization of PCI technologies with Government, commercial entities, and industry, grew and maintained bookings >100% over a four-year period, and established strategic partnerships with internal development and external manufacturing teams to execute a $60 million program with the US Army. In 2022, they joined Roanwell Corporation as President and CEO.

Matt Steinbroner attended Little Valley Central from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Regents Diploma. Matt then attended State University of New York At Fredonia from 1995 to 1997, where they earned an American Chemical Society Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
