Maya Burns

Maya Burns is an experienced educator with a robust background in teaching and instructional roles. Currently serving as an English and Social Studies Teacher at Roaring Fork School District (RE-1) since August 2015, Maya also works as a Ski Instructor with Aspen Ski Company since November 2013. Previously, Maya served as a Special Education Teacher for the NYC Department of Education from 2010 to June 2013 and was a Teaching Fellow through the New York City Teaching Fellows program from 2010 to August 2012. Maya started the professional journey as a Crew Member at Three Mile Island Camp from 2005 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Education from Hunter College (2010-2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan (2006-2010).
