Elementary Classroom Teacher-2nd Grade At Roaring Fork School District, Sopris Elementary School at Roaring Fork School District

Rachael Carcaterra has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an Elementary Classroom Teacher for 2nd grade at Sopris Elementary School within the Roaring Fork School District since August 2005 and as a Teacher Mentor at Colorado Mountain College since August 2014. Previous roles include a Kindergarten Teacher at Basalt Elementary, a Director Qualified Preschool Teacher at Glenwood Preschool, and a 4th Grade Teacher at Center Elementary School. Rachael also contributed as an Academic and Enrichment Dual Teacher for Summer Advantage USA during the summers of 2012, 2014, and 2016. Rachael holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction/Linguistically Diverse Learners from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching/Psychology from Wheaton College, along with an Associate’s Degree from Colorado Mountain College.
