Joe Powell possesses extensive experience in data, analytics, and strategic consulting within the insurance and management consulting sectors. As Chief Digital Officer at Gallagher Bassett since June 2015, Joe oversees data, analytics, and product innovation functions. Previous roles at Gallagher Bassett included Senior Vice President of Data & Analytics and Vice President of Analytics, where responsibilities encompassed leading data functions and providing a range of analytical services. Prior to Gallagher Bassett, Joe was a Consultant at Bain & Company, focusing on growth strategy and performance improvement for clients. Joe began a career in web development as an intern at JH Specialty Inc. and gained teaching experience as an instructor at Indiana University Bloomington. Joe holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
