Ben van der Burg

Ben van der Burg, FRM, serves as the Director and Manager of Client Portfolio Risk at Robeco since March 2015, overseeing the financial risks associated with investment portfolios, including market, liquidity, counterparty, and sustainability risks. Ben has also acted as the interim manager for the Risk Reporting team, ensuring stability during a leadership transition. Previous roles at Robeco include Senior Financial Risk Manager, where Ben focused on fixed income and private debt risks, and Risk Manager at Robeco Luxembourg, advising on risk matters for the management company. Prior experience includes a Senior Risk Manager position at ABN AMRO Bank, where Ben specialized in capital requirements, and a Senior Policy Advisor role at the Ministry of Finance, representing Dutch interests in European financial regulation. Ben's education includes a Master's Degree in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Additionally, Ben is the owner of Bedrijventerrein Balijpark, a small business park in Pijnacker.
