Jeroen van Den Akker

Jeroen van den Akker has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jeroen began their career as an intern at Henkel KGaA in 2006. In 2007, they joined Rabobank International as an Ormit Trainee, where they completed assignments in global financial markets operations, ACC Bank in Dublin, and corporate operations. From 2009 to 2014, Jeroen worked as a Risk & Internal Control Manager at Robeco. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Business Manager at bunq.com before returning to Robeco, where they held multiple positions including Head of Operational Risk and Executive Director, Program Manager Outsourcing Operations. Since 2022, Jeroen has been working as the Head of Risk Management at Robeco and is also a Member of the Board for Luxembourg UCITS and AIF fund range.

Jeroen van den Akker completed their MSc. in International Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, between 2001 and 2007. In 2006, they also pursued European Union Studies at Leiden University for a brief period of time.
