John Coppock

John Coppock has a wealth of experience in the financial and writing industry. John started their career in 1984 as a financial and news journalist for various UK newspapers and newswires, where they worked until 2010. In 2011, they joined the Financial Times as a sub-editor, editing stories for the newspaper and website. Later that year, they moved to BlackRock where they held the position of Vice-President, Investment Communications until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a freelance writer, editor, and media trainer. In 2013, they joined Robeco as an investment writer, where they are currently employed.

John Coppock's education history begins in 1981 when they attended the University of Hull, where they earned a BSc Econ in Economics, completing their studies in 1984. Following a break in their education, they enrolled at Birkbeck, University of London in 2005 and pursued a BA Hons in Medieval History. John successfully completed their degree in 2009. John's academic pursuits continued at the same institution, and from 2010 to 2012, they obtained an MA in London Studies. In addition to their formal education, John obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Journalism from the National Council for the Training of Journalists in January 1986.
